The term heat treatment refers to various processes that can be used to specifically adjust the mechanical properties of materials. Depending on the alloy, different heat treatments are used for precision and sand castings.
The mechanical finishing of castings is often the last step in our production. Manufacturing-relevant measurements are removed and the final geometry is produced based on your drawings and data sets and in accordance with your quality requirements.
The first impression counts. Even before components are measured or finally installed, the surface is the focus. Scratches, nicks or unwanted color gradients are often not functionally relevant, but leave an irrevocable first impression of the manufactured product. Our options range from common sandblasting with glass beads or corundum to standard and special paint finishes to technical refinements such as anodizing and electroplating.
